OUR STORY

How we started

 

A young girl named Zoe has a chance to go on an extra-special trip. She was selected to be a People to People Student Ambassador on a 2 week educational program to Japan for the summer of 2015. Once there, she will learn about Japan's culture, people, and its history by staying with a host family and participating in a large array of cultural encounters and adventures. She'll travel to beautiful ancient temples, learn the fine art of Japanese animation, and experience the beauty of traditional Japanese culture firsthand by making age-old treats, calligraphy, and engaging in their festivals and traditions.

 

Needless to say, Zoe can't wait and is determined to earn her spot on this journey, which is why she created Z's Dish. Using her passion for baking, she is raising funds for this special opportunity by cooking cupcakes, cookies, cakes, and so much more! It's a win-win situation, spreading happiness through delicious desserts while earning funds for Japan. Plus, not only are all of her treats healthy too, but she's happy to donate a portion of the proceeds to the SPCA.
